PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

Identify  simple rigging and lifting  tasks of materials  and/or plant equipment by using the available  charts and drawing at the text . also, the participants will have an idea about functions and defects  of these  equipments

 

 PROGRAM OUTLINES:

  1. recognition and knowing the rigging equipments and function
  2. visual inspection techniques of lifting apparatus and components
  3. calculating and estimating load , weight & balance
  4. suitability of equipments for rigging and lifting
  5. methods of attaching equipments and using equipments
  6. standard hand sling for directing crane operation
  7. safety procedure and precautions
  8. useful knots in rope and lashing
  9. operating fork left
  10. operating the 5 or 8 ton  carry-deck  crane
