PROGRAM INTRODUCTION:

 

This is a course of practical nature arming at improving participants understanding of pumps technology and specific applications in refineries, process plants, and petrochemical complexes. Pumps selection and maintenance of different pumps types are also included.

 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

 

  • In-depth understanding of fluid mechanics principles.
  • Distinguish between the different types of pumps-performance characteristics, construction features, selection criteria and operating parameters.
  • Understand the common problems likely to be encountered in operating different pumps types.         .
  • Learn standard procedures of pump testing, inspection troubleshooting and maintenance.
