This course will
provide participants with an overview of economic terminology,
fundamentals, and methodology used to determine profitability of ongoing
operations as well as planning and selection of processes for future
expansion/revamp. Included are discussions of process modeling, LP
techniques and applications, refinery margins and crack spreads,
financial terms and supply chain management. While the course is basic
in nature.
